Pansonic AG-HVX205A - NTS or PAL

I know this model is the Japanese model of the AG-HVX200A. They sell on Ebay much cheaper because there is no warranty.

My question is do they shoot NTSC or only PAL? Or both? I was thinking maybe only PAL, hence, another reason they're so cheap. Can't use them in the US.

I know it's kind of a dumb question, but I'd like to know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Japan is also an NTSC standard country, so Japanese versions of cameras will be NTSC. PAL cameras typically cost more than NTSC cameras.

You need to worry more about the grey market status

Thanks for the info. yeah, I'm aware of the gray market status. I'm weighing my options.
