Ok we are currently doing an experimental module in college and had to make a video filmed from one static shot. I believe that in this age people are hypnotised by the TV so this video is meant to have TV hypnotising the viewer due to the movement of the tv combined with the soundtrack, even though the TV isn't the only thing in the shot when you watch it it kind of draws you eyes to it.

Hard to say much more, though. Can't really give an honest opinion, since the description of it took my eyes away from the obvious focus. I've been making a point of looking at everything aside from the television, just from what was mentioned in the original post.

Maybe "experimental" doesn't need any kind of explanation in advance.
