Hello All,

What is the best way to break into the film making/producing industry as a novice. I like to write but I am interested in producing a film. Especially with no budget really. I would like to develop the skills to gain credibility as a legitimate film producer. Yeah I know it is an act of God, but any advice is better than none. My goal is to learn the craft and build upon it.

Than you all for those that reply back

The traditional method is to get a job as an unpaid intern/PA and work your way up from there learning the industry/craft as you go.

Hi everyone, I'm interested in peoples experiences, someone is offering to help me with pre-production for $450.00 (150 /day for 3 days work) Is this considered a fair rate, for a small independent production?

All thoughts and responses appreciated, have a blessed day.
