Which camera?

I am purchasing my first prosumer camera. I am having trouble figuring out which one to get. I have a little over 2,000 and I'm wondering if HD is needed, do I want a camera with the ability to have interchangable lenses? I am makin movie shorts and within the next year will make a feature.

I dont kow much about cameras but I fell in love with the Xh A1. its a bit over 2K but if you look you could definatley find a good one for your price range.
