Reality show setup

Ok, I am new to this and am looking to record my own reality show as well as my own independent films. I am currently looking at a Sony HVR V1U 3CMOS camera, and Audio Technica mics (PRO88W-R35). Since the camera has 2 XLR outputs, and the mics work with 1/8 " jacks, I plan to run an XLR male to 1/4 " male cable into a mixer I found on Musiciansfriend.com (NADY MM-141 4 channel mini). From there, I would use 1/4 " to 1/8 " adapters from the mic receivers to the mixer.

Basically, I am asking if this will work/ for any advice since I am new.

Here's what I'm considering:
