I'm getting started in filmmaking and I am having a hard time finding my footing. I am teaching myself editing, sound and technique through video tutorials and books, practicing shots with some friends but so far apart from some muck-around shorts it hasn't expanded beyond that.
I hope to find a good community to get some pointers from, this looks like it could be the ticket.
