Is video emailing a good way to market films?

Hi everyone,

I've just got into online broadcasting and video emailing and am using it in two ways.

I'm using the broadcasting side to get a live dyslexia chat show out there each week.

I'm using the video emailing side as a marketing tool for my business and also as a means of promoting a few DVD's that were made for a community project that I'm involved with.

Have any of you used either of these mediums?

I have someone who does do emailing for me with her own contacts (she has about 4000). I don't do blind emailing as it is too much like spam. She also sends out press releases for me. I find networking, word of mouth, meeting people and personal promotion works very well. There is so much out there on the internet for people to see that it is very difficult to get noticed. I would really like to know how you are doing with this project.
