I am a freshman and I attend a high school that is nationally recognized for being focused on Visual/Performing Arts.

I am in the theatre program, but my main passion in film. This summer, I really would love to be in a film program for teens. I know of a few already (e.g Fresh Films, SOCAPA, etc.) But I really want to consider all of the options.

Does anyone have links or suggestions for summer programs for teens?
I would really appreciate it. Thanks =]

My name is Jaime, I run a film camp for teens. It's called the iD Film Academy. It's a two-week documentary program where you learn filmmaking from start to finish; treatment writing, shooting, editing, sound design etc. We have two campuses, UC Berkeley or McGill University in Montreal. Check it out! www.idfilmacademy.com

Hi,

If you're looking for a summer program for film, you can email me and I'll be able to provide you with options pertaining to your level of experience. I'm a summer program advisor for students, ages 8 - 18. I work with many high school students and direct them to the right program for their interest. You can contact me at jill@tipsontripsandcamps.com if you're interested in finding out more.

She said the program was really good, and the kids all got to make their own movie, and they also took some really cool field trips. The program looks pretty cool this year - Check it out here. (http://www.internaldrive.com/film/instruction-in-this-filmmaking-camps-and-digital-video-summer-camps/)

That's my 2 cents.
