I'm about to make an upcoming short film. I have a fairly old SD camera, although it's in great condition. My dad has a Sony HD handycam, and my friend and editor for this movie is buying a Canon HV-30.
My question is, is it more practical to film with the older SD camera (which still gets a good picture) or film with one of the HD cameras? I've heard it's a little more complicated to get good shots with HD cameras.
