So i have gotten a hold of a camera jib / crane for a shoot this weekend and the next. I know that practicing with it will help, however, i was just wondering if anyone had any tips on using these.

Obviously excellent for establishing shots, but how else could i benefit from this wonderful piece of equipment.

This is the jib we are using. http://www.proamcranes.com/shop/product.php?productid=16136&cat=249&page=1

Thanks for the help.

I like mounting the jib on a track dolly and then using it as a counterbalanced handheld type of camera rig. gives you quite a bit of freedom
