:huh:ok so ive seen some really amazing indie films..i would love to be a part of one...but i have no idea where to start..does any one have any good advice they could offer me? it would be greatly appriciated....im not in this for the money...just want to have that experience and possibly be a part of helping someone realize their dream, while i discover new things about my self. thank you. oh and when i say a part of it , i mean like in the actual film.:huh:

k so i want to be casted in a indie film. i have absolutly no idea how to get started.. please help...thanks.:huh:

The first thing you can do to get started to go get a professional headshot. Just get a few shots, one or two looks from your chest up. You can get started by looking at craigslist.com under film/tv or talent gigs. There is also Mandy.com where people will cast indie films. I did most of my beginning work as an actor in student films. Student films are a great way to build a small resume.

Take any part that is offered, no matter how small. Once you are on set, talk and learn from the other actors and the director.

when i say a part of it , i mean like in the actual film.:huh:If you want to star in a feature film that's no problem .... just write, direct and act in it .... control everything yourself.

Take the roles that don't pay as well, that will help you get the exp. Take anything you can get your hands out. Check out craigslist. Don't give up.
