Hey guys, I have finished shooting a short of mine and was wondering the best way to burn it to DVD. I used FCE to edit it with and don't know the best way to burn it. Should I use software specifically designed for creating DVD's or does FCE have an easy way to do this? Sorry for the Newbish question, Thanks.

Burning a project to DVD

Use iDVD for the simplest DVD creation. Just export your project from FCE using the Quicktime export (not quicktime conversion). If you want to save disk space, you can uncheck the "self contained" option, but be sure to select audio+video. Then, just drop the resulting movie file into iDVD. i.e. Open iDVD, start a new project, and drag/drop the movie file right into the DVD menu area. Burn your DVD and you're set! (it may take a while to encode the movie file, but the progress bar should keep you up-to-date on the progress).
