Direct Submission To NetFlix?

Greetings,

I notice that on the NetFlix site they provide the option for producers to submit their film directly.

So has any one here ever done this and had NetFlix pick up their film?

If so how does NetFlix work? Buy out? Revenue Share?

I'm not entirely sure myself...though I've had a couple friends get stuff on Netflix through that program...so I'm sure it works on some level.

But I'd be really interested to hear some stories about it.

Generally Netflix requires submissions in bulk from producers. They won't do a single film but if a producer has, say, 12 or 13 then they're more likely to accept.

They do have it as an option though:
