How to do Distribution for Indie Movies?yes asimple question...guide me about this?should we directly contact distributors or should we try sales agent?what are the tips to make safest deals????????should we straight away give a copy of movie to sales agents????????
please guide me about the close matters in detail

Movies are distributed by a distributor. Even indie movies.

A filmmaker can contact distributors directly. A sales agent
is often used. It is safe to give copies of your finished movie
to both distributors and sales agents. Distributors and sales
agents also see movies in festivals so entering festivals is a
good way to find them.

My only tip on making the safest deal is to never pay any
distributor or sales agent a fee. The legit sales agents take
a percentage of the sale price they negotiate and distributors
pay a fee for the distribution rights.

well mr modern i dont have a movie yet. i have a complete movie scripot and it s a comedy................which i will shoot in next 4 months as me and my friend need som more finance to shoot the movie.so wanted to get the info about all these thing.well thanks for tips
and mt modern im happy that you movies are doing well.can you send me the exact links of all the movies which has been released + if i want to purchase dvds of them whlie living in pakistan what will be the charges??????
