I want to set up an upstairs bedroom as a potential short film location, yet to write a script. I am wondering what color would be best to repaint the walls? Floor is wood. Right now the walls are pure white. Has windows receiving E/NE light but I also have studio light softboxes, reflectors. I just recall reading somewhere that white walls are the worst for shooting HDV. What would be some good choices for paint colors to repaint the room?

I'd use something neutral, like gray or beige. Not white, and only flat black if I wanted to limit reflected light. A lighter color will be easier to paint over, if you decide you need a different color. However, white is prone to hot spots. Personally, I'd paint everything chroma-green! ;)
