We are heading to L.A mid Feb 2008 to produce several feature films until the end of the year.
We have a short film script 'RONAN'S ESCAPE' which we would like to 'attempt' to complete before we go! Yes its a tight schedule but we can do it! The film is contraversial as it depicts teenage suicide and is set to raise eye brows at next years TROPFEST (2009) We will only disclose the full synopsis of 'RONANS ESCAPE' to the shortlist of Actors / Crew who apply. We assure you it will be a tear jerker & very highly acclaimed in next year's Tropfest. We have several companies on board donating services, including Kodak Australia who beleive in this script & the mesage it portrays.

RONAN, RONAN'S MOTHER, RONAN'S MOTHERS FRIEND, GYM INSTRUCTOR, BUS DRIVER, SCHOOL KIDS (Extras)
We Need:
RONAN (Lead) - Male 12-16yrs old. Ronan's character is the typical kid at school picked on by the other students. We are seeking an actor with blondish hair, a litthe more padding & beautiful red rosy cheeks. We will however accept any actors (shape, size, hair colour etc) in this age group as it is fairly niche.
RONAN'S MOTHER - 30-40 yrs old. Ronan's mother is the wife of a farmer and lives on a farm in the country.
RONAN'S MOTHERS FRIEND (extra) - 30-40 yrs old NO DIALOGUE. To sit with Ronan's mother in one scene.
GYM INSTRUCTOR - Above 30yrs old. Male
BUS DRIVER - Above 40-55. Male
SCHOOL KIDS - (Extras) Approx 15. All to be 12-16yrs old boys & girls.

We are particular how Ronan & his mother look so please send us your headshots / pictures if applying for these or ANY of the above roles.
PAY- As with every short film budgets are low, however we have set aside a few hundred $ to pay everyone who comes along (except school kid extras) Major actors such as Ronan, Ronan's mother, Gym Instructor will recieve around $100, other actors around $50. We realise this is minimal pay but it's a little better than recieving nothing like most shorts! This is also a contraversial film which is set to raise eyebrows so haveing this short film on your resume is far more important than the cash!
