just wondering im from UK should I shoot in 18fps or 24 ive always read it should be 24fps. whats the main difference is 18 uses less film?

24fps will give you much smoother motion, and it's better suited for transfer and digital editing than 18fps, but if you're trying to achieve the distinct look of 8mm, shooting 18fps may prove to be beneficial. My advice is to shoot a couple test rolls, one at 18, and one at 24 and see which works better for your needs.
