Soundtrack Pro comes with a very decent library of sound effects and ambient tracks that I've used in my professional productions.

Online, I usually go with Sounddogs.com. Reasonable prices and amazing selection. They also have royalty-free music as well.

Hey, heres a site for a huge collection of sound effects from Gunfire, explosions, blood splats etc. Very cheap Xmas price, you should check it out.
