I doubt it would be focused on independent film makers.

So he used what is essentially a HTPC designed by apple for simplicity to output to a projector? We have been projecting from computer at Lakedance since 2006 and while we were among the first, we were not the first. The tough part is not so much showing one film digitally, its showing 54 films with intermission loops and Q&As and awards presentations, without you having to click all over the screen to accomplish it.

Our advantage is, we can stream compressed 1080p files, but it eventually gets downrezzed to 1400 x 1050, the projectors native res. We're working on true 1080p projection soon, plus we beam the signal to our VIP lounge for all to watch there.
