Hey guys,
Been sick all weekend (worst flu EVER!), but I've been doing research on stuff, and I stumbled upon the application page on the Director's Guild of Canada... http://www.dgc.ca/page.php?id=303
More relevant to filmmakers of either Canada or the US, there's a PDF there I thought worth a share: http://www.dgc.ca/PHPUploads/DGC%20Membership%20App%2020061201.pdf
I was browsing through it, and there's some good info for those who want to explore the steps involved with getting into the industry guilds and such (does not include the wizard guild).
But more importantly (methinks), it listed the responsibilities of all the various crew members- eg. 1st AD - Does "this", "this" "and this", which I think is pretty useful, if you're boning up to get a specific gig.
Anyway, thought I'd share it. Enjoy. Bleeeech! Oh man. I've never been sick for 4 days in a row before... killer... :scared:
