I've hired a composer to create a soundtrack for my film. We will be using a couple of musicians to record some live tracks. Do I need to provide a contract/agreement for these musicians, or are they covered under the composers agreement already in place?

That no longer concerncs you, but the composer needs to have "Work For Hire" agreements with each musician. It cannot effect your status, but can effect his as the sole composer.

The only gotcha I see to what boo said is in the event that the composer is not going to be handling the actual recording of the soundtrack. If you will be dealing directly with the musicians for the recording, rather than through the composer, then you would want to supply the contracts and agreements to them directly.
That would be my course of action anyway, your mileage may vary.
