I've re-encoded my entire catalogue with H.264 MPEG4 in full screen 640x480 resolution. These files are
also 100% compatible with 2nd generation Apple video iPods.

If you're needing instructions or a sample XML file to use to get your productions on iTunes, please PM me. I'll send you the code and some quick instructions. It was a heck of a lot easier than I thought.

You figure a company as big as Apple would already have technology in place to track popular/unpopular items in their store...

I've just added the 'outtake reels' for all five films to iTunes (Beware, #5 has some bad language).

Have you looked into selling movie files through iTunes? What's involved in that?

To sell through iTunes, you have to be a big production company or they won't even talk to you.

I had a long conversation with them about sales. If they don't think you're going to be 'extremely' profitable to Apple, they won't give you the time of day. Hence, I had to distribute my stuff through them as a free podcast.
