At Scene 12 of 40, my feature is sitting at 31 mins in the assembly/rough edit...should end up about 90-120 mins in the rough to hit my intended estimate of 60-90 mins :)

I'm going to take a scene that is indicative of the process and offer a step by step view of what it went through when I'm done...from raw footage through final product...every step including sound, foley and coloring. Is this something folks would be interested in?
 
Ugh! Tell me about it. On Left For Dead we have 101 hours of footage to hack through (thats what taking 2 years to do a film does to you), the min ended at 105mins which was still about 10 mins too long. That's something to learn in the future... shoot less, edit less, easier life! Less gray hair!
 
I'd love to see some of the process! I am also currently editing my short, but since I shot on super8mm film, i was very very careful about not shooting more than i absolutely had to, so i only have about 75 minutes of raw footage :D
