watch We, The Screenwriter sneaks...

Uniting 16 film and television writers for a richly entertaining and often surprisingly revealing dialogue, the feature-length doculogue We, The Screenwriter explores the personality, process and profession of being a writer working in today's Hollywood.

The trailer below features primarily Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Carnivale, Star Trek: The Next Generation).

The teaser (below) features primarily Shane Black (Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Lethal Weapon).

While it won't be available on DVD for a while yet as we're currently negotiating broadcast and exploring festival options, I do hope that those interested in screenwriting will support WTS by visiting...

Here's a rather informative trailer that had been cut for We, The Screenwriter but not used because of unsatisfactory compression issues. Thought some might like to see it, though.

"We, The Screenwriter trailer 3 ('Afraid')" addresses the challenge of dealing with producers and studio execs. It features Deborah Serra (Snow White: A Tale of Terror), Shane Black (Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang), Anton Diether (Moby Dick) and Frank Cappello (Constantine).

That's pretty interesting stuff. It makes me wish I had a story to write, and one or two clues on how to go about it! ;) Looks like your doculogue could be very intriquing. Thanks for posting those.

Very cool

I can't wait to see this on DVD. Horror stories such as these make me realize that the indie film world is for me. I cannot stand the idea of some snot-nosed suit making creative decisions based on who they went to lunch with. With self distribution options becoming a reality, I'm glad we small budget filmmakers have real options for reaching an audience.

Watch "We, The Screenwriter" free...
